Belmont Cameli is an American actor best known for playing Garrett Graham in Prime Video’s romantic drama Off Campus. The series, based on Elle Kennedy’s popular Off-Campus book series, has brought Cameli considerably more attention in 2026. Before taking on the role of the Briar University hockey star, he appeared as Jamie Spano in Saved by the Bell and had roles in Along for the Ride, Based on a True Story, The Alto Knights, and Until Dawn.
Cameli’s career has followed an unusual path. He studied business at the University of Illinois, worked as a model, moved to Los Angeles in 2019, and eventually built an acting career while maintaining ambitions to become a filmmaker.

Cameli grew up in Naperville and was active in sports during high school, playing football, wrestling, and volleyball. He also developed an interest in acting at a young age and participated in school theater productions. Biography.com reports that he performed in productions including Footloose and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
His family played an important role in his decision to pursue acting. After high school, Cameli enrolled at the University of Illinois as a business major. He ultimately spent about a year in college before deciding that he wanted to become an actor and filmmaker.
In an interview with Flaunt, Cameli discussed his mother’s concerns about him leaving college and pursuing an uncertain creative career. He also credited his late father with instilling confidence and determination in him. His older brother has also influenced his musical tastes.
For readers searching for Belmont Cameli parents, publicly available interviews provide some family background, but there is not a large amount of verified information about his parents’ personal lives. It is therefore better to stick to what Cameli himself has discussed publicly rather than repeat unverified celebrity-biography claims.
Belmont Cameli’s Education and Career Beginning
Cameli initially studied business at the University of Illinois. However, acting and filmmaking increasingly became his focus. He eventually left college and supported himself through modeling work in Chicago.
He later moved to Los Angeles in 2019 to pursue acting professionally. Flaunt describes modeling as part of the transition period before he established himself as an actor. Cameli has said that he viewed acting as a first step toward his larger goal of filmmaking.
His first credited television role came in Empire in 2018. He subsequently built experience across television and film before landing his breakout role in the Saved by the Bell reboot.
Saved by the Bell
Cameli played Jamie Spano in Peacock’s Saved by the Bell, appearing alongside Elizabeth Berkley, Mario Lopez, and other members of the franchise’s new and original casts.
The role was an important step in his career. Cameli has described working on the Universal lot and learning from the established actors as a major part of his early professional education.

One notable career step was The Alto Knights, in which Cameli worked with Robert De Niro. In a Flaunt interview, Cameli spoke about being a longtime admirer of De Niro and described working with director Barry Levinson as a particularly valuable experience.
He also starred in Until Dawn, the 2025 horror film directed by David F. Sandberg. Cameli filmed the project in Budapest and described the experience as one of the most memorable productions of his career.
Belmont Cameli as Garrett Graham in Off Campus
The biggest development in Belmont Cameli’s career so far is his role as Garrett Graham in Off Campus.
The Prime Video series is based on Elle Kennedy’s Off-Campus novels. Its first season centers on Garrett, a star hockey player at the fictional Briar University, and Hannah Wells, a music major played by Ella Bright.
Garrett and Hannah begin their relationship through an arrangement that gradually develops into something more complicated. The character requires Cameli to combine the confident, athletic side of Garrett with the more vulnerable parts of his personality.
Did Belmont Cameli actually play hockey?
Not before the series. Cameli had a strong athletic background from playing football, wrestling, and volleyball, but he had not previously been an ice-hockey player.
For Off Campus, he had to learn to skate and prepare for the physical demands of playing a college hockey player. Grazia’s 2026 interview with Cameli specifically notes that he had never skated before taking on the role.
That distinction is useful because Garrett Graham is a hockey player on screen, while Cameli’s real-life athletic background is broader.
Why Off Campus matters to his career
Off Campus places Cameli at the center of a major romantic television series and has expanded his visibility beyond the roles he played earlier in his career. IMDb currently lists him among the principal stars of the series alongside Ella Bright and Mika Abdalla.
The series also gives him an opportunity to play a character very different from some of his earlier roles, particularly because Garrett combines sports, romance, college life, and personal growth.
Is Belmont Cameli Returning for Off Campus Season 2?
Yes. Current reporting indicates that Cameli is returning as Garrett Graham for the second season of Off Campus. IMDb currently lists Cameli among the returning cast for the series’ 2026–2027 run.
Production has also become a subject of recent entertainment coverage. PEOPLE reported in September 2026 that the cast had begun filming Season 2 in Vancouver. The second season is expected to put greater emphasis on Dean and Allie’s story, while Garrett and Hannah remain part of the series.
This is also worth separating from online speculation. Rumors about tension between Cameli and his co-star Ella Bright circulated after changes to their social-media connections, but both actors have publicly dismissed the idea of a feud and described their relationship as a close friendship.
Is Belmont Cameli Married? Does He Have a Wife?
No reliable public reporting indicates that Belmont Cameli is married or has a wife.
Instead, current reporting identifies Raina Morris, a television writer, as Cameli’s girlfriend. PEOPLE reported that their relationship became public in March 2025 through Cameli’s Instagram and that Morris has attended major events with him, including premieres connected with The Alto Knights and Off Campus.
Morris has writing credits associated with projects including Emily in Paris, Neon, and Schmigadoon!.
So, for searches such as “Belmont Cameli wife” or “Is Belmont Cameli married?”, the available evidence points to him being in a relationship rather than having a publicly confirmed wife.
It is also important not to confuse Cameli’s on-screen relationship with Ella Bright’s character. Bright plays Hannah Wells, Garrett’s romantic interest in Off Campus, but PEOPLE reports that Bright and Cameli have described their real-life relationship as a friendship.
Belmont Cameli’s Nationality and Height
Cameli is American and was born in Naperville, Illinois. Recent coverage also describes him as having Italian roots.
For height, IMDb currently lists him at 6 feet 0¾ inches (1.85 meters). Since celebrity height figures can vary between databases, this should be understood as the measurement currently listed by IMDb rather than a separately verified official measurement.
Belmont Cameli’s Instagram and Public Life
Instagram has played a role in Cameli’s public profile, including making his relationship with Raina Morris public in 2025. His social-media activity has also attracted attention from Off Campus fans.
However, recent events illustrate why social-media speculation should be treated cautiously. Fans interpreted changes involving Cameli and Ella Bright’s Instagram connections as evidence of a dispute, but both actors later rejected those rumors.
For that reason, Cameli’s verified interviews and direct statements are more useful sources for understanding his personal life than fan theories or Reddit discussions.
What Is Belmont Cameli Doing Next?
Cameli’s career is continuing to expand beyond Off Campus. IMDb currently lists several projects in different stages of production, including Barbershop, The Lottery, and Sleepy Hollow, with Cameli listed as Brom Bones in the latter.
His own comments also suggest that filmmaking is part of his longer-term ambition. He has described acting as a way to learn the craft before eventually taking on larger filmmaking responsibilities.
That makes his career trajectory broader than simply becoming known as a television romantic lead. His existing credits show a move between comedy, romance, crime drama, and horror, while his stated interest in filmmaking points toward possible work behind the camera in the future.
